Books, General, Mediums, Reviews

Author’s Note: This is an old draft that I felt the need to publish after reading an interesting article on secret introvert. It is always bothersome how people expect you either be an introvert or an extrovert. In Susan Cain’s book she talk about introversion and extroversion as a spectrum in which people lie at different interval. I encourage everyone to read it; it is not a book only about introverts, it delves into extroverts as well.

I am not proud to say this: I did not know Susan Cain gave a TED talk considering how much I love watching TED talks. So how did I find out? Buying the book on Chapters and stumbling on the video via a Freshly Pressed blog.

I got an email from Chapters/Indigo about amazing book deals and since I recently went back to my love for reading, I started checking for good deals and new authors and that’s how I saw Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking. Being an introvert, I added it to my wish list but the urge to buy it was so great, I added it to my cart.

Enjoy her TED talk below:
